about glassophony
It all started when I moved to the beautiful countryside of East Sussex and decided I wanted some glass art in a round window by my front door. I wanted the colours to represent the changing sky, the fields and the open spaces around.

I was introduced to Tony Wynne at Venus Glass Studio and immediately fell in love with fused glass as a medium. I decided to make the window pane myself and so began my journey into fused glass artistry.

Items for the home and gifts for friends turned into requests for commissions and ultimately the creation of Glassophony.
I enjoy creating pieces for a variety of uses; from platters, bowls, wall panels and jewellery to wind chimes, light-catchers, door panels and even house signs. I always keep an eye out for things I can create in glass so when my daughter got married her lucky horseshoe was made from, you guessed it, fused glass. I even incorporate fused glass into my steel garden sculptures!

Fused glass can be practical or just be…autiful. There will always be a place or occasion that can benefit from the addition of fused glass; weddings, anniversaries, birthdays or a thoughtful house-warming gift. Maybe something for yourself. And why not? As the light reflects and dances around the glass it’s enough to brighten anyone’s day.
